Maharashtra Natural Gas (MNGL) has identified locations for setting up 20 additional CNG pumps across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad in order to meet the rising demand for CNG. The new pumps would be set up in Yerawada, Vimannagar, Kharadi, old Mumbai-Pune highway, Baner, Pune Satara road and Sinhgad road among others. Entry, exit to Pune’s airport changed to facilitate road work
In Pune, the traffic police have made temporary changes in the entry and exit points for vehicles at the Lohegaon airport. The changes have been made to facilitate the airport authority's ongoing work on Airport Road. Vehicles entering the airport complex to drop passengers will now have to enter from gate number one on the northern side of Phase III.

Mumbai h’way’s 2-km stretch in Pune to be concretised
In Pune, a 2-km stretch of the Pune-Mumbai highway from Phugewadi to Dapodi will soon be concretised along all eight lanes. The stretch, which falls in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limits, was widened earlier, but its concretisation work has not been completed. The PCMC has already concretised the 11-km highway stretch from Phugewadi to Nigdi.
SC clears hurdle for Pune’s riverside road
The last hurdle in completing the 1.5-km road work on Mutha riverbed in Pune was removed on January 18 as the Supreme Court dismissed the prayer by city-based NGO Parisar Society to stay the construction of the road.
