UP govt to repair dug up roads in Kanpur
Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) will repair and construct the roads dug by Jal Sansthan in Kanpur city. Keeping in view the forthcoming international one-day match to be held in the city, roads in the vicinity of Green Park Stadium would be repaired or would be carpeted, said the State Principal Secretary Rajneesh Dubey on November 8.

The engineering wing of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has begun repair and restoration work on roads that were badly damaged in the heavy rains across the city last week.
Jharkhand govt takes up repairs on NH-33

Mumbai civic body’s waste expenditure on road repairs
A recent audit of the Comptroller of Auditor General in Mumbai has revealed that the Mumbai civic body BMC wasted Rs 8.44 crore of taxpayers' money by hiring a contractor to repair a stretch of SV Road that could have been done for free. The company that originally constructed the 2.5-km stretch in Borivali in 2007 was bound by the contract to fix road defects for no extra cost till December 2012.
Varanasi roads to get a makeover soon

BMC to try PMB technology to repair roads
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is considering the Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) technology to repair the city roads. BMC, which faced immense flak for the non-motorable condition of the Western and Eastern Express Highways, is keeping its hopes on this technology to repair and maintain Mumbai roads. PMB technology has kept the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) going without a crater for over four years.
Kozhikode Corporation gets Rs 54 lakh for road repairs
The Kozhikode Corporation has been granted Rs 54 lakh by the Kerala government for immediate repair and restoration of roads within the Corporation purview and rural limits of the district. The government on July 23 had allotted the sum in two orders to repair eight roads in the Kozhikode Corporation area and five in high-range areas of Thiruvambady, Koodaranji, Karassery, Kodiyathoor and Puthupadi within the district.
