In order to reduce the mitigate the impact of noise from running trains in the neighbourhood of railway tracks, Tata Steel is keen to adopt ‘SilentTrack’ technology. The company may advise railway authorities on the use of SilentTrack. The company’s European subsidiary has successfully developed and laid the technology in the UK.
