An expert panel of Union Environment Ministry approved a road project connecting the proposed Navi Mumbai international airport to the national highway and another one linking the airport to Khandeshwar station. The Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) of the ministry also cleared the two clover leaf intersections planned on the western and eastern sides of the airport.
