According to media reports and public complaints, the under construction flyovers on the 240 km Jaipur-Gurgoan highway have turned a nightmare to motorists. The highway has flyovers under construction every third km. NHAI charges around Re 1/km, about Rs 240 as toll. And this is going for the last so many years and the highway is getting worse, especially developing numerous potholes in this rainy season.

Road users says that the most disappointing thing was that there were six-seven diversions due to construction work going on for overbridges and on an average 15-30 minutes were being lost at each diversion.

And heavy vehicles allowed on the highway have become a big headache to motorists. One can find number of long trailers running on the road in all three lanes at different speeds, sometimes taking sharp turns without any indicator. Motorists feel that NHAI should ensure separate lane for heavy vehicles.
