Solar solutions provider Maxwell Solar and Wind Energy has installed a 250 kV grid connected rooftop solar plant at the World Trade Centre in Mumbai. The plant has been set up on the Arcade building across 25,000 sq ft and will cater to the air conditioning of the building. It will generate over 3 lakh units annually. Through this initiative, WTC Mumbai is participating in government´s mission to scale up solar power to more than 10 per cent of total energy mix by 2022.
