ZWZ Bearings, a leading player in the bearing industry, plans to set up its operations in India. With this set up, the public listed enterprise will ensure its direct presence in Indian markets. The Indian company will focus on sales and marketing of industrial bearings under the ‘ZWZ’ brand.
With its entry, the Group is aiming to expand into the $2 billion Indian bearings market, which has been registering a CAGR of 20 per cent. ZWZ intends to set up a full-fledged manufacturing base in the next two to three years. Till the facility in India is set up, the company will import all its product requirements from People’s Republic of China.
The Indian arm will launch about 5,000 types of industrial bearings and gradually take the portfolio to 15,000 products. ZWZ owns the intellectual property rights of all their manufactured products.
