National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) of Abu Dhabi has bagged a $227 million (Dh834 million) engineering, procurement and construction contract from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), for a wellhead platforms project at the offshore Mumbai High Field. Work includes survey, design and engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, hook-up, inst­­­a­ll­ation and comm­issioning of the platforms. The overall project completion is scheduled for April 2012. NPCC is presently executing two pro­jects for ONGC with scheduled completion pre-monsoon 2011. It has committed to complete other ongoing projects on time to client satisfaction. The projects are B-22 with value of $278 million, RS-12 with value of $163 million and the latest B series project with value of $227 million totalling $668 million.
