The proposed container freight station (CFS) by MIV Logistics at Vallarpadam would be partly operational by December and fully operational by October 2013. The station will have a capacity to handle one lakh TEUs per annum, both for export and import when fully commissioned. The facility will have a warehouse of 60,000 sq ft capacity.
