For widening highways and inter-city roads running through Punjab, the State government would spend to the tune of Rs 13,740 crore over the coming two years, the state government said on July 11.
This was revealed during a review undertaken by the State Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal to study the progress of ongoing road projects in the state.
