Committee on Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low-Income Households, set up by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), on October 4 said that it has invited suggestion from stakeholders on development of financial services delivery model.
The RBI said in a release that the committee which is being headed by Nachiket Mor, member of the Central Board of Directors, RBI, has members from the financial sector, from organisations that are engaged in developing new models of financial services delivery, in rural as well as urban contexts and have subject matter expertise.
A Udgata, principal chief general manager, rural planning and credit department, RBI is the member secretary of the committee. Stakeholders will submit their suggestions to the committee through e-mail by October 31, 2013. The Committee will submit its final report by December 31, 2013.
