In Kerala’s Kasargod district, construction on a hill highway will begin this year with Rs 5 crore. The road project is to connect Thiruvananthapuram from Nandarapadavu in the northern tip and pass through Perla, Badiadukka, Mullaria, and Chalingal.
The hill highway project was included in the P Prabhakaran Commission report that studied the comprehensive development of the relatively backward district.
