Alstom T&D India and Alstom Grid UK have won a Rs 182 crore contract from Power Grid Corporation to supply and refurbish High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) converter transformers. The turnkey contract includes designing, engineering, manufacturing, refurbishing, erection and commissioning of HVDC converter transformers.
