Tushar Mehendale is Managing Director of ElectroMech Material Handling Systems. Over the last 35 years, ElectroMech has developed a strong dedicated workforce of more than 500, and since 1999, Mehendale has been leading this team. He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with an MS degree from the US in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Engineering Management. He brings to ElectroMech not only engineering penchant and drive, but also the vision of customer focus and service. Mehendale is actively involved in the entire operations of the company at the top management level enabling ElectroMech to maximise the value of its products and service offerings. In addition to this, he is also involved directly in the overall marketing and business development activities of ElectroMech. Mehendale also heads the R&D cell of the company.
Amongst Mehendale´s achievements are establishing a proactive sales & service network across India. ElectroMech currently has seven regional sales offices in India. He has helped to diversify the company´s market across different industries and markets (domestic as well as abroad), and the company caters to a wide spectrum of industries, including General and Heavy Engineering, Power, Shipbuilding, Infrastructure, Steel and Oil & Gas.
