Umesh Ulavi, is currently serving as Vice President and Business Sector Head, Water Resource Management of Kirloskar Brothers Limited. He is the holder of bachelor degree of engineering in mechanical stream from College of Engineering Pune in 1979. He has more than 35 years of rich experience in the field of hydraulics and pumping systems. He is also working as Director of another subsidiary company, Kirloskar Systech Limited.
Presently, Ulavi is heading a team of 90 engineers, management graduates and technicians in the field of water and waste water segments in project management. His project management skill has carried out more than 150 projects and his interpersonal relationship with customers has bagged repetitive orders from the leading corporation in India.
Ulavi has been associated with Kirloskar Brothers Limited since 1994. He endeavors hard for timely completion of jobs with positive cash flow and customer satisfaction. His foresight and competence in negotiation was noticed during merger of one of the water treatment company with Kirloskar Brothers Limited in 2006-07. In Kirloskar Brothers, Ulavi has always been a high achiever and his capabilities are recognised by various clients like KWA, MJP, MCGM, HMWSSB, GWSSB, BWSSB and many more. Apart from his business schedule, Ulavi extends financial support to NGOs and social organizations. He is passionate about music.
