Professional, leader, and challenge seeker- these traits best describe the journey of Debasis Chatterji, CEO, Netxcell Ltd, over the last 22 years of his career. Under his leadership, Netxcell started its operations in India about 10 years ago and then, expanded its operation in Africa through Netxcell Mauritius Ltd (NML). Today, Netxcell is proud of its presence among all Indian telecom mobile operators in India and Africa, serving about 500 million mobile subscribers in data, provisioning, life cycle management, voice dialling, and end-to-end campaign management. To cite an example, jewel in the crown is one of the unique private cloud based data provisioning solutions for one of the prominent mobile operators in India that enables the operator to save huge money. His emphasis on Intellectual Property Rights helped Netxcell file several products & services for patent, service mark, and copyright.
Chatterji has been a speaker in many national and international telecom conferences, engineering colleges, and management institutes. He is a doctorate in Science with AMP from IIM Bangalore and Diploma in Patent Law from the prestigious NALSAR Law University. A recipient of ´Indira Super Achiever Award´, Chatterji has been featured twice in Communication Commander Power List by MY MOBILE magazine. Under his leadership, Netxcell has been awarded ´Most Innovating Software Company Award´by Microsoft. He is also a visiting faculty in a reputed management institute in Hyderabad.
