Announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter at the fiscal ended March 31, 2015, Adani Power Ltd (APL) said that its consolidated net loss during FY2014-15 was Rs 816 crore. The company further said its consolidated income during the year increased by 24 per cent, from Rs 15,768 crore to Rs 19,545 crore, the income being Rs 4,668 crore and net profit at Rs 715 crore. APL during this period acquired Udupi Power Corporation Ltd, following which it has commissioned capacity of 10,440 MW. Revenue increased due to higher effective operational capacity of 8,891 MW as compared to 7,182 MW in the corresponding previous year, the company said.
