Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) has approached the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) with a plea to levy a development fee of Rs.50 per embarking domestic passenger and Rs.100 per embarking international passenger. The money is required for the development of two metro rail stations – T-I and T-II – which will be part of the proposed 33.5-km Colaba SEEPZ Metro III being developed by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC).
