IL&FS Transportation Networks in a joint venture with PJSC Kyivmetrobud has bagged the Rs 371.22-crore Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) contract for design validation and construction of underground stations. “The Letter of Acceptance issued by CMRL was accepted on January 9 by the company,” the company informed the stock exchanges. The 70:30 joint venture with PJSC Kyivmetrobud had submitted bids with the Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL) and it was declared the lowest bidder for the project, which is expected to be completed in 20 months.
