ECOPRO boards absorb approximately 35 per cent water when immersed in water for 24 hours.

<p>During this period, it loses its strength slightly while in water, but regains it as soon as it dry. Therefore the boards are called water resistant. Water repellent board ECOPRO plus is another variant of ECOPRO which absorb 14 per cent water.
