Alstom Bharat Forge Power Ltd (ABFPL) is the joint venture company of Alstom and Bharat Forge. The company has bagged contract worth Rs 1,136.5 crore from NTPC for the supply of plant equipment for the Tanda coal power plant in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work involves engineering, manufacturing, testing, supply, erection and commissioning of the two 660 MW supercritical turbine islands and auxiliaries for the plant.
