In an official statement, Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) said it would supply gas turbine generator (GTG) and associated auxiliaries to select Shell locations.
According to a five-year agreement signed by both the firms, BHEL would supply Frame-5 (26 mw), Frame-6B (42 mw) and Frame-9E (126 mw) GTG packages for power generation application and includes installation and commissioning services.
The equipments would be supplied to select Shell locations in Asia-Pacific, West Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa. Gas turbines and associated auxiliaries, required under the agreement, will be manufactured and supplied by BHEL’s Hyderabad facility and the control systems will be manufactured and supplied by BHEL’s Bangalore facility, the statement said.
