Media reports indicate that Bob Dudley, Chief Executive of BP Group suggested the central government to prepare a clear roadmap for pricing of domestically produced natural gas in the country.
Dudley feels introduction of a clear roadmap for gas pricing would attract more investment in the hydrocarbons sector.
Dudley has reportedly said this at a meeting with the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other senior government officials. Dudley was accompanied by Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries.
During the meeting, wide-ranging issues related to the development of RIL-BP’s East Coast block were discussed.
