Firms keen on InvIT want clarity
Infrastructures developers such as IRB, GMR and IL&FS are keen to launch their infrastructure investment trusts after SEBI announced guidelines last week, but may hold their plans for more clarity on disclosure and accounting norms.
Funds raised by NHAI
The government has permitted borrowing of Rs.59.279 crore by NHAI during 2016-17 as IEBR. NHAI plans to raise Rs.5,000 crore through capital gains bonds and `50,000 crore through taxable bonds or other similar instruments
Centre agrees to grant funds for Tripura-Chittagong sea port bridge

Funding National Waterways
India has remarkable potential of 14,500 km of navigable waterways. However, only 4,300 km comprising five waterways have been designated as National Waterways. Realising the exponential growth in this sector in the coming years, the government in the year 2016 has, under the National Waterways Act 2016, declared an additional 106 inland waterways which brings the total number of National Waterways to 111.

L&T Infa Debt Fund to raise up to Rs.2,750 crore via bonds
With more leeway to fund projects and tax exemptions, L&T Infra Debt Fund (IDF), L&T Finance group's infrastructure refinancing arm, plans to raise up to Rs.2,750 crore through debentures.
