Recommending to improve roads in Pune city, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has prepared a policy note and submitted the same report to the Bombay High Court. The High Court had asked the PMC to submit the report, following a public interest litigation (PIL) on the poor condition of roads in Pune.

Himachal re-allots World Bank-funded road project
In Himachal Pradesh, a road project, which was earlier awarded to a Chinese firm Longjian Road and Bridge Company, has been re-allotted to another company.
