Officials of Gannavaram airport are awaiting clearance from Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the commissioning of the Instrument landing system (ILS).A calibration aircraft landed at Gannavaram airport to calibrate the functioning of ILS and the officials will submit a report to DGCA.Based on the report, the regulator will decide on giving approval for commissioning the system.
