The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has given a jolt to L&T for failing to fulfill its obligation to make available Rs.3,000 crore to build flyovers in Hyderabad.
L&T is the concessioner of the Metro Rail. According to the NHAI, Hyderabad Metro Railway Limited (HMRL) had agreed to provide funds to NHAI to build four flyovers at certain stretches.
