The ambitious Rs.10,000 cr gas pipeline project to Kashmir is caught in bureaucratic wrangles for the past three years as a proposed MoU between the state government and GSPL India Gasnet Limited (GIGL) Gujarat- the executing agency for the plan- is yet to be signed. In a meeting held in June this year, Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali had directed to fast-track the MoU.
