ONGC has paid 100 per cent interim dividend for the Year 2013-14. The Sudhir Vasudeva, CMD, ONGC handed over a cheque of Rs 2961,27,32,610 (Rupees two thousand nine hundred sixty one crore twenty seven lakh thirty two thousand six hundred and ten only) to the Petroleum Minister Marepadi Veerappa Moily in Delhi recently towards the Interim Dividend for 2013-14.
This represents payment of Interim Dividend at 100 per cent to the Government of India against its shareholding in ONGC. On this occasion, Secretary, MoP&NG, Addl. Secretary, MoP&NG, Functional Directors & other senior Officials of ONGC were present.
It may be mentioned that, Govt of India is holding 69.23 per cent equity share in ONGC and the dividend is Rs Rs 5 per equity share i.e 100 per cent of the paid-up share capital.
