Petronet LNG is mulling to invest $1 billion to set up a 5 million metric tonne per annum liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the east coast. The terminal will take up to five years to build. The pre-feasibility report had studied 5-6 locations, including Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.
