Exuding confidence that the Centre´s UDAY scheme will help revive debt stressed discoms, NTPC Ltd Chairman and Managing Director Gurdeep Singh has said that electricity demand is going to increase in the future. The Central government had launched UDAY to help discoms reduce debt and improve their fiscal position which will ultimately help them buy power required for their customers.
