Suzlon-Torrent Partnership Crosses 1.3 GW with New 250 MW Wind Order

Suzlon will deliver 76 S144 wind turbines of 3.3 MW each, supported by grid integration and longterm O&M asset management services.

India’s wind‑first, full‑stack renewable energy solutions company Suzlon has secured 1.1 GW of new orders in FY2027, including a fresh 250 MW wind order from Torrent Green Energy, a Torrent Group company.

This sixth order from Torrent takes the cumulative partnership between the two companies to over 1.3 GW across Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh, three wind‑rich states that offer strong resource potential and policy support for renewable energy projects.

Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group, said, “Torrent Green Energy has been one of our most valued partners for over a decade, and we are honoured that this relationship has grown into one of Suzlon’s largest customer partnerships.”

This order further strengthens our presence in Madhya Pradesh, which is emerging as an important growth market for wind energy in India.”
