CIDCO to extend deadline to respond to RFQs

CIDCO, the nodal body overseeing the planned Navi Mumbai airport project, plans to extend the time for companies to respond to the request for qualifications (RFQs) for the project by more than a month. The date has been extended to 30 July from 18 June.

In Chandigarh, the increasing traffic on roads has compelled the UT Administration to mull over alternative routes to reduce congestion. To improve connectivity between the Chandigarh Railway Station and the Airport, the UT Administration has proposed a new road connecting the two destinations.
