The reactions are positive and industry is also quite optimistic on the introduction of NCAP 2016. The objective of the government through NCAP is to establish an integrated ecosystem enabling significant growth of the civil aviation sector, which in turn would promote tourism, increase employment and lead to balanced regional growth.

New policy soon for growth of aviation sector
For a new policy of sustainable and orderly growth of aviation sector in the country, the Union Civil Aviation Ministry has prepared a white paper, the Rajya Sabha was told on March 22. To have a sustainable and orderly growth of the aviation sector, the Ministry has felt the need to spell out a long-term Civil Aviation Policy to address various issues related to the sector, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation KC Venugopal said.
