Alstom Bharat Forge Power Ltd (ABFPL), the joint venture company of Alstom and Bharat Forge has bagged contract worth Rs 1,136.5 crore from NTPC for the supply of plant equipment for the Tanda coal power plant in Uttar Pradesh.

Alstom Bharat Forge Power Ltd (ABFPL) is the joint venture company of Alstom and Bharat Forge. The company has bagged contract worth Rs 1,136.5 crore from NTPC for the supply of plant equipment for the Tanda coal power plant in Uttar Pradesh.
Bharat Forge awarded Sword of Honour
Bharat Forge has been conferred upon with the prestigious international "Sword of Honour Award" by the British Safety Council for Health & Safety, Management Systems. The Sword of Honour Award was received by BP Kalyani, Executive Director, Bharat Forge at the historic Goldsmiths' Hall in the City of London. The Sword of Honour is a reflection of high standards of Health & Safety performance and demonstration of leadership in safety in all phases of operations across the plant.

Bharat Forge bags crank shaft order from IR
Indian Railways (IR) has always imported its crankshaft, but recently for the first time has placed an order with Bharat Forge. According to the company, Bharat Forge is the only crankshaft manufacturer in India which caters to the industrial sector. Bharat Forge has been already supplying a range of equipment to major rail network in the US and Europe.
