Building 20 km roads a day is not possible for now: Govt
Since builders are not coming forward due to fund crunch in the present economic environment, it is not possible to construct 20 km of roads in a day, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister CP Joshi said on January 24. Govt finalises changes in STP policy
Maharashtra government finalised several changes to the existing policy for the Special Township Project (STP) scheme. The modified policy increases the contribution of the builder to low-cost housing to 20 per cent of the total built-up area from the current level of over 10 per cent.
