Airport Express Line back on track
Finally, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has turned the fortunes for Airport Express Line metro system. According to DMRC release, the footfall that connects the New Delhi railway station in the heart of Delhi to the airport has increased four times. This is mainly because slashing of fares from Rs.180 to Rs.60 by DMRC.

To boost revenue, airport Metro to carry cargo
After slashing fares to bring in more commuters, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is trying other ways of increasing revenue on the Airport line. From March 1, DMRC will start cargo services on the Airport Express line on an experimental basis.
Kochi Metro to start operations on Kerala Formation Day
Kochi Metro will begin commercial operations on November 1 - Kerala Formation Day, since both Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Kerala Metro Rail Limited are confident of completing all works and obtaining mandatory clearance by that time, Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said.
