In Delhi, a project of concrete road for internal lanes of the Sector-II, DIZ area, Gole Market at MS Flats-Peshwa Road and J-Block, Mandir Marg was inaugurated by the Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. The work of DIZ Sector-II has begun and will be completed by May, 2014.

AI clears its major share of dues to Delhi, Hyd airports
Air India has cleared a large chunk of its dues to GMR-led operators of Delhi and Hyderabad airports, with the latest instalment of Rs 415 crore being paid a few days ago. A GMR spokesperson said that Air India has made large payments over the last two months to clear the outstanding dues to the GMR Group. GMR is hopeful that Air India will clear the remaining dues in an expeditious manner to reach a regular payment status.

Ongoing work on Delhi road poses danger to commuters
In Delhi, the ongoing work to reconstruct the central verge on Ekasur Vithi Road in front of Archana Complex, GK-I, has become a nightmare for commuters. With debris spilling on both sides of the road and concrete blocks piled up next to it, the two-lane road has been reduced to half its size leading to traffic jams. Similarly, the central verge on the road connecting Outer Ring Road to GK-I via Pamposh Enclave, was broken two weeks back.

DMRC clears mono rail DPR
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has reviewed and approved the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the first monorail corridor from Shastri Park Metro Station to Trilokpuri in Delhi.
DMRC would implement the 11-km corridor in east Delhi and this would be integrated with three different lines of the existing Metro network. The Rs 2,235 crore corridor, which is expected to be completed by 2017, will have 12 stations and work on the project would start in the next couple of months.
More direct flights from Mumbai to Hong Kong by Cathay
Cathay Pacific would add more direct flights from Mumbai to Hong Kong from April. The Hong Kong-based full service airline will also introduce its new product line of the premium economy cabin on this route after launching it in Delhi and Chennai last year.
Work on key road grade separator in Delhi to begin soon
In Delhi, work on Rani Jhansi grade separator is expected to start soon, after a delay of four years. The North Municipal Corporation has approved the commissionerÂ’s proposal of giving Delhi government land in exchange for the land that will be acquired from private property owners in Azad Market and Model Basti.
