The government has is preparing the feasibility study for Delhi-Jaipur Expressway project. It will be too early to state about likely time of completion at this stage. This was stated by Sarvey Sathyanarayana, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in response to a written question in Lok Sabha
Govt clears MIAL, Delhi Aerocity projects

Defence Colony flyover in Delhi to shrink for repair
LalaLajpatRai Road, the critical link between the southern and central part of Delhi, may witness major congestion in September when the Public Works Department (PWD) of Delhi government begins repair and rehabilitation work on the Defence Colony flyover at an estimated cost of Rs 3.81 crore. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), custodians of the security at Delhi’s IGI airport, have found several glaring faults with the perimeter intrusion detection system (PIDS) — touted as a state-of-the-art mechanism to secure the airport’s boundaries. The system was supposed to be installed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) before the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
NHAI expects nod from Army for service road in Delhi
In Delhi, the work on the 3-km-long service road between Rajokri flyover and Palam, stalled due to face-off between National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Indian Army, may be completed soon, say media reports. The service lane would end the problems of slow-moving vehicles, which are forced to take the main carriageway of the Gurgaon-Delhi Expressway due to lack of service roads.
Delhi govt mulls another bridge over Yamuna
In accordance to the growing population and rapidly increasing number of vehicles registered in Delhi, the Public Works Department (PWD) is planning another bridge over the Yamuna. The new bridge, said PWD officials, would be built upstream on the Yamuna, further north of Wazirabad bridge. Engineers said a consultant would soon be appointed to suggest the alignment of the bridge.

CRRI imparts tech to engineers to repair Pune roads
The Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) in Delhi has imparted 'tough terrain road-building technology' to the engineers of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on PMC's road department on June 5. Researchers from CRRI, who visited Pune, said that this technology is used in the northeast and Kashmir. The same technology will be used in Pune city to put an end to the pothole issues.
