Adani plans Rs.20k cr clean energy park in Mundra
Adani Group plans to set up an Integrated Renewable Energy Park at Mundra in Kutch district, close to its port and SEZ. The park, if it comes into existence, would be the first of its kind and will need an investment of Rs 20,000 crore.
60 MW power from rooftops
Within the next three years, the Gujarat government plans to generate 60 MW power from rooftops of over 30,000 houses. Apart from houses, solar panels of about 20 mw capacity will be laid on the Narmada irrigation canal and solar-power high-speed pumps will be provided to farmers for irrigation in Gujarat.
