Foot overbridge soon at Hero Honda Chowk in Gurgaon
A foot overbridge (FoB) is to come up at Hero Honda Chowk in Gurgaon to ease movement of thousands of pedestrians and two-wheeler drivers crossing the Chowk. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is all set to give the final nod to the proposed foot overbridge (FoB). NHAI and the Public Works Department (PWD), which will construct the FoB, held a meeting recently.

Work on FOB in Gurgaon awaits funds
In Gurgaon, work on constructing a foot overbridge (FOB) at Hero Honda Chowk is awaiting funds from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and necessary approval to start the work. The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has written to the NHAI about the project which the two departments have to jointly fund. A senior HUDA official said that the DPR of the project has been prepared and submitted to the NHAI for approval.

Mangalore railway station gets its 2nd foot overbridge
In Mangalore, a second foot overbridge was inaugurated at Mangalore Central Railway Station on February 11. Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament from Mangalore said that the overbridge has been constructed at a cost of Rs 75 lakh to connect platforms 1, 2 and 3.
