Gujarat State Petronet (GSPL) received authorisation from the gas regulator PetrolÂeum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to lay 4,000 km long pipelines on thrÂee routes at an investment of Rs 12,500 crore.

Essar Pipelines and Terminals recently completed a 48-inch, 330 km high-pressure gas pipeline for GAIL, probably the longest large diameter pipeline that any contractor in India has done. The pipeline extends from Vijaipur in Madhya Pradesh to Dadri near Delhi.
