According to a report by the Road and Building Committee of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), there are 13 stretches in the city's west zone which have been damaged. Six of them would be repaired by the AMC road project and the rest by contractors as they fall under the guarantee period.

Action against road contractors for substandard quality
Contractors in Kerala who failed to repair roads, that are damaged before the guarantee period, will be blacklisted, the Kerala government has said. Ports and Fisheries Minister K Babu asked contractors to repair the roads at the earliest. The minister also directed authorities to complete the rehabilitation of people who have suffered losses in the landslide at Kadvoor near Kothamangalam last year.
