Haryana government is setting up a joint venture hydel power project in Bhutan in partnership with the Royal Government of the independent State. Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the State would get 1,500 to 2,000 MW power from Bhutan in next four to five years at rates economical than thermal power.

Haryana government awaĆĀrded Rs 1,201.70 crore order for four-laning a151 km stretch of a highway to IVRCL Assets & Holdings.The contract includes rehabilitation, up-gradation and widening of the existing carriageway to four-lane standards with construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction of bridges, drains, etc.
