In Himachal Pradesh, the Hindustan-Tibet road is to be revived to serve as a reliable alternative way to National Highway-22 and boost the local economy. Govt to construct 27 roads along Sino-Indian borders

Along the India-China border, the Union government
is to construct 27 strategic border roads. Approving the road works the government has estimated cost for the same at Rs 1,937 crore. This was stated by Minister of State for Home Mullapally Ramachandran in Lok Sabha February 26.
