12 Bengaluru roads to get TenderSURE makeover
The Karnataka government will upgrade 12 roads in Bengaluru under the TenderSURE project as of now, sources in the Urban Development Department (UDD) have said. The roads include Church Street, Commercial Street, Brigade Road, Lavelle Road, Infantry Road and Queen´s Road.

The Karnataka government is planning to revive a slew of infrastructure projects, including high-speed rail network and an international convention centre near Kempegowda International Airport near Devanahalli.
Expert panel to study power project via Kodagu
The Karnataka government has decided to constitute an expert committee to study the Power Grid Corporation of IndiaÆs controversial project to draw a 400-kV power line from Yelwal in Mysore to Kasargod in Kerala via Kodagu.
Karnataka signs PPAs
The Karnataka Government has signed two long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) for 992 MW with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL). The agreement with DVC is for 450 MW at Rs 4.40 per unit and with NPCIL for 442 MW from the Kudankulam nuclear power plant at Rs 3.30 a unit.
Karnataka okays Rs 10,044 cr worth projects
The Karnataka government has cleared 10 projects with an investment of over Rs 10,044 crore. The projects are expected to create 14,105 jobs in 10 districts of the state.
Plea to Karnataka govt for new industrial policy
The Karnataka government should bring out its new industrial policy in tune with the rapidly changing economic environment. This requisition has been made by the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC). The BCIC has submitted a memorandum to the State government in this regard.

Eight-lane road to link Bidar, Chamarajnagar
To execute the 'Kalyana Patha' road project, the Karnataka government has appointed the Karnataka Road Development Corporation (KRDCL) as the nodal agency. The project aims to develop industries, colonies, small towns along the Chamarajanagar-Bidar 850-km stretch. The project has been named as Kalyana Patha road project.
