A plan has been chalked out for tarring of roads worth Rs 3.97-crore in Ambad industrial areas of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) by the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC). The Maharashtra government unveiled new industrial policy earmarking 40 per cent of land for Special Economic Zones (SEZs) might not see substantial land being used for housing purposes in Pune district, say property experts. According to Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), majority of the notified SEZs in Pune district will not have excess land to implement the schemes.
