Over the past 15 months, New Gurgaon, which is an area between Manesar and old Gurgaon, has seen investments in real estate projects by several private equity funds. Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC recently put in Rs 150 crore in a joint venture with realty firm Vatika group to develop two projects in this area of Gurgaon.

Huda sets up new pipeline to raise water supply
The areas facing water shortage in Sector 16 of New Gurgaon areas will get an additional water supply of 5-6 million gallons daily (mn gd) water as the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) laid 2 km long 1,200-mm water pipeline. The pipeline would facilitate additional water supply to the Sector 16 boosting station. The engineers of Huda conducted trial run for a couple of days to flush out the dirty water and clean the pipeline
Flyover work starts at Subhash Chowk in New Gurgaon
Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) last week began the construction of a 600-metre flyover at Subhash Chowk in New Gurgaon. Once the flyover opens to the public in the area can expect relief from frequent snarls. The facility is expected to provide smooth vehicular movement between Huda City Centre and Hero Honda Chowk on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway.
