The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has invested around Rs 1,000 crore to extend the railway line beyond TripuraĆās capital Agartala and up to the state's southern temple city Udaipur, a top official has said.

Rail service in Arunachal
Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is planning to flag off the first train service from Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh on 12 December.This will include Arunachal Pradesh in the railway map of the country.The NFR authorities assured that railway service from Naharlagun will begin on the scheduled date after an aerial recce of the ongoing projects.
