The oil & gas sector has attracted foreign direct investments worth $ 1.18 billion in the past two financial years between April 2014 and March 2016, the government said in its ´achievement report´ for the petroleum sector.
Paradip plant to be major petrochem feedstock supplier: IOC
The upcoming refinery of state-run Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) at Paradip would be a major producer of feedstock for the downstream petrochemicals industry, a top official of the company said.
IOC to commission Paradip refinery soon
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) expects to commission its oil refinery at Paradip soon as 96 per cent of the construction work at the project is already complete. The refinery is the company´s largest investment in a single project and is also the first zero-residue refinery of the country.
New Director (Refineries)at IOC
Sanjiv Singh took over as the Director (Refineries) of Indian Oil Corp (IOC). He was Executive Director in-charge of IOC's Rs 30,000 crore Paradip refinery. Prior to that he was head of IOC's most modern refinery of at Panipat.
